XFONE COMMUNICATION LAUNCHES “018” INTERNATIONAL
TELECOM SERVICE IN ISRAEL'S $330 MiLLION MARKET
XFONE, Inc. Takes Another Step For Market Growth

December 14, 2004

LONDON, UK & TEL AVIV, ISRAEL - (BUSINESSWIRE) – December 14, 2004 – XFONE Communication Ltd., a majority-owned subsidiary of XFONE, Inc. (OTCBB:XFNE), a provider of international voice and data communications services, today announced the official launch of Israel’s newest international carrier service, marketed as “018”. In Hebrew Numerology ("Gimatry"), the numbers “018” symbolize “life”.

With no obligations or upfront fees required, international callers located in Israel need only to dial “018” followed by the destination phone number to enjoy the multiple benefits afforded by XFONE’s carrier system, now in full operation. Offered at a price per minute that is as much as approximately 35% less than the most competitive carrier in Israel, XFONE Communication also permits users to predetermine the cost per minute by dialing “01800”. Moreover, XFONE Communication has established a state-of-the-art web site, found at www.018.co.il, where users may also access "real time" detailed information relative to pricing, full service offerings, and general information regarding system use.

At a press conference this morning, held in Tel Aviv, Israel, XFONE Communication executives addressed several dozen members of the media, unveiling the numerous benefits that consumers may derive when using XFONE’s new international calling services. Rafi Dick, President of XFONE Communication, noted, “With a comprehensive marketing campaign underway, driven by sophisticated ads in leading Israeli newspapers, XFONE is very excited to welcome its new customers, and looks forward to quickly emerging as Israel’s preferred international carrier service provider.”

Not present at the conference but reached for his comments, Guy Nissenson, Chief Executive Officer of XFONE, Inc., stated, “We have developed a highly differentiated international telecom company in Israel, that is focused on utilizing state-of-the-art technology, including a web-based interface, to offer ‘018’ users with the most cost-efficient, transparent and easy-to-use International calling service available in Israel, while enhancing the way people use the telephone to reach their friends, loved ones and business associates. From a growth point of view, this launch of XFONE Communication represents what could be one of XFONE, Inc.'s areas of growth over the coming years.”

Currently, there are only six companies who have been granted carrier licenses in the State of Israel, where the international calling market exceeded $330 Million in 2003.
