XFONE COMMUNICATION BEATS INITIAL EXPECTATIONS FOR
NEW ‘018’ INTERNATIONAL TELECOM SERVICES IN ISRAEL’S
$330 MILLION MARKET

January 11, 2005

LONDON & TEL AVIV, Israel - (BUSINESS WIRE) - January 11, 2005 - XFONE Communication Ltd., a majority-owned subsidiary of XFONE, Inc. (OTCBB:XFNE), a provider of international voice and data communications services, today announced that it has surpassed its initial performance expectations for its new “018” international telephony services that were officially launched on December 14, 2004 in Israel.

Early results reveal that XFONE Communication is aggressively outpacing its initial expectations for billable minutes. With less than four weeks in operation, it has successfully launched four out of its five target sectors within Israel’s competitive $330 million international long distance market, readily serving thousands of users and billing tens of thousands of minutes per day.

The advantages XFONE Communication offers over the competitors in the Israeli market have had a significant effect on its ability to surpass its early internal expectations. With no obligations or upfront fees required, international callers located in Israel need only to dial “018” followed by the destination phone number to enjoy the multiple benefits afforded by XFONE Communication's carrier system. Offered at a price per minute that is as much as approximately 35% less than the most competitive carrier in Israel, XFONE Communication also permits users to predetermine the cost per minute by dialing “01800”. Moreover, XFONE Communication has established a state-of-the-art web site, found at www.018.co.il, where users may also access “real time” detailed information relative to pricing, full service offerings, and general information regarding system use.

“Considering that we have beaten our initial objectives for the launch of ‘018’, this initial success demonstrates that Israeli consumers are indeed seeking quality, cost-effective and easy-to-use international long distance services,” stated the parent company's Chief Executive Officer, Guy Nissenson of Xfone, Inc. “The key is to now leverage this early success in Israel and to steadily increase our market penetration and establish ‘018’ as a leader in the space. It is clear that we may be on track to accomplish this objective in record time.”
