FTTP Build out from Lubbock to Levelland

As of March 2010, the FTTP buildout in Levelland has been completed. As illustrated in the photos below, our Levelland office is open for business and already well established in the community. The office serves as an ideal location for potential customers to view the practical applications of our triple play service.

Also pictured are some of our marketing efforts in Levelland including public billboards and yard signs in the front lawns of some of our residential customers.

In and around Levelland, there are signs of the progress of the buildout. The photos below show an installed network interface device on the building of a local business and a pedestal and fiber marker which serve as the connection point for fiber distribution.

In mid-August our Levelland Office was prepared to open for business with the positioning of “NTS Levelland” signs and a supply of network interface devices ready to go out for installation at our customers.

The 7,500 square foot office/warehouse for NTS Telephone Company in Levelland, Texas includes an equipment room designed to house the electronics and power supply necessary to “light” the fiber optic cable and distribution fiber was installed in a designated ‘beta’ test area.

These photos, taken in October 2008 show the construction of some of the residential and business passings which were completed in November 2008.

In August 2008 NTS hosted the community of Levelland,Texas for a celebratory picnic in anticipation of the Company’s launch of FTTP service in that market. Approximately 500 Levelland residents attended the event.

During July 2008, fiber was installed across a 30‐mile distance between Lubbock and Levelland, Texas as pictured here.

The fiber offering provides more bandwidth to business and residential customers increasing upload and download speed.
